For years, I was disconnected from myself.I lived mostly in my head — thinking my way through life, trying to understand everything, trying to hold it all together.From the outside, things may have looked fine. But inside, something felt missing.I could imagine what certain emotions were supposed to feel like… but I wasn’t really feeling them. Not fully. Not safely.It took me time to realize that this wasn’t just “how life is.” That feeling numb, disconnected, or shut down wasn’t something I had to keep living with.Slowly, I began finding my way back. Back into my body. Back into feeling. Back into safety.And with that came something I hadn’t felt in a long time: ALIVENESS.Not because life suddenly became perfect — but because I was finally here for it.Now, this is the space I hold for others too.A space to slow down.
